Do you outsource your prints?

No, we produce all of our prints in-house and have 20+ years of printing experience. Everything is done in-house so that we can control our quality and turnarounds.

What is your turnaround time?

We promise a production time of 3-5 business days with shipping to follow. You will receive tracking information as the product is produced and shipped.

Where do you ship?

We ship to the United States and to Canada.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping can take anywhere from 1-6 business days. We ship from Spring Lake, MI so the closer you are located the less time it will take.

Can I expedite my order?

Please contact us regarding expediting your order. We may be able to expedite production for an added cost or expedite shipping for an added cost. This will be invoiced separately.

What is the largest size you print?

We can print up to 40”x60”

Which hanging & display option is the best for each size?

We offer a variety of desktop & hanging options. Here are our display optionsbroken down by standard sizes:

 

  • Desktop Easelup to 8 x8/12×18”.
  • Metal Float Hangerup to 8×8/12×18”.
  • Float Frame – larger than 16×24” and up to 40×60”

Are metal prints heavy?

Metal prints or made of recycled aluminum and have a sleek thin profile. One of the benefits of these prints versus acrylic is the lightweight material. Though proper mounting hardware is essential,  metal prints are lighter than other comparable printing mediums at that size.

How durable are metal prints?

Aluminum prints are a durable substrate that utilizes a dye-sublimation process, meaning that the ink is turned into a gaseous state and absorbed into the coatings and surface of the metal. This creates a clean vibrant print that is fade, moisture, scratch, and abrasion resistant.

How thick are Gloss Metal Prints?

Gloss Metal Prints without any mounting options are .045” (3/64”) thick

What type of file formats do you accept?

We accept  JPG, PNG, TIFF, and PSD. If you need to send us a different file format, please contact us.

What’s the max file size I can upload?

Max upload file size is 50mb. For larger sized files, upload a placeholder image and email file transfer link to info@glossmetalprints.com.

What resolution do you require?

300ppi is optimal for best results. (Maximum: 300ppi – Minimum: 100ppi)

How much bleed space should I allow?

Please account for a 1/8” loss of your image file to bleed for trimming on all sides, keeping all essential elements away from the absolute edges of the image.

What does the "Image Enhancement" option cover?

We hand adjust each image for optimum resolution, color, contrast, and clarity to best enhance the quality of your print on the chosen finish.
We will not submit a proof unless it is requested in the notes, which may extend turnaround times.

My print arrived damaged. What do I do?

Our local teams work diligently to ensure your complete satisfaction. Contact us with your order number and picture of the damaged product and our dedicated customer service team will do everything they can to help successfully resolve your issue.

Aluminum prints are a sturdy substrate that will not scratch or dent. The printing process is a dye-sublimation, meaning that the ink is turned into a gaseous state and absorbed into the metal. This creates a clean print that will not chip at the corners or scratch.

My print arrived damaged. What do I do?

Contact us with your order number and picture of the damaged product. We’ll contact you with further information.
